On October 24, Tito & Pep Chef and Owner John Martinez hosted a hands-on cooking class and demonstration at Miller Elementary to inspire students to explore the connection between culinary arts, math, and science. Three 5^th grade students were chosen to assist with the cooking demonstration and helped make a fresh salad, mayonnaise, and ranch, with students from the upper grade levels in the audience. At the end, all of the students were able to come up and try some of the items the group created.
