Gifted And Talented Education at Miller Elementary
At Miller we offer GATE Pull-Out Services for Grades 1-5. We have one GATE itinerant teacher assigned to Miler, Ms. Gina Hunter. Ms. Hunter sees GATE students for services for 90 minutes per week

Eligibility
Eligibility and Placement for Gifted Services
Tucson Unified students in grades Kinder through 6th grade will be tested to determine student eligibility to receive gifted services in the TUSD GATE program. The testing usually happens in the months of September and December and students who qualify will get placement for the following school year. TUSD has many opportunities for students to participate in District gifted programs through open access and qualified gifted assessments.
