Meet Elizabeth Houston, our amazing MTS Coordinator at Miller Elementary, who brings an incredible 20 years of dedicated teaching experience across Tucson Unified — including 15 years teaching first grade at Wheeler Elementary alongside time at Vesey and Booth-Fickett — to our campus!

A true TUSD product who attended local schools from K-8 through high school and follows in the footsteps of her mother, who taught in the district for 32 years, Elizabeth has always found her greatest joy in showing students that school is a fun place to be and helping them grow into lifelong learners.

When she isn't supporting students and staff by fostering Miller's wonderful family community where children are supported in becoming incredible human beings, her world revolves around her husband and kids — including a sophomore at Palo Verde High School and a seventh grader in middle school — with whom she loves hitting the bowling alley.
